Morning Foothills Chinna Suruli Falls (Cloudland Falls) Start your day by visiting the gorgeous Chinna Suruli Falls near Kombaithozhu village at the base of Meghamalai. Enjoy a refreshing bath and the lush green forest setting.
Lunch Chinnamanur/Kombaithozhu Local Lunch Have lunch at a local eatery before starting the ascent.
Afternoon The Ascent Drive up Meghamalai Ghat Road Begin the adventurous 2-3 hour drive up the ghat road. Check into your accommodation at the hilltop (Highwavys/Manalar area).
Late Afternoon Manalar Dam Manalar Dam Reservoir Visit the Manalar Dam, the source reservoir of the Suruli River. Enjoy the serene waters and the breathtaking view of the Cumbum Valley far below.

Day 2: The Source & The Majestic Cascade

Morning Hilltop Highwavys Dam & Trek Visit the Highwavys Dam, another crucial water body. Take a walk along the dam area or embark on a short nature trek towards the Upper Manalar Falls area (ask locals/guide if accessible and safe).
Late Morning Check-out & Descent Travel to Suruli Falls/Cumbum Check out from the Meghamalai stay and begin the descent. Drive directly to the Suruli Falls area (near Cumbum/Gudalur).
Lunch Cumbum Cumbum Valley Lunch Enjoy a delicious non-vegetarian meal or a local thali in Cumbum town.
Afternoon Suruli Falls & Bath Visit the grand Suruli Falls, the ultimate destination for waterfall lovers. It is a two-tiered waterfall fed directly by the Manalar and Suruli rivers originating in Meghamalai. Spend time bathing and relaxing.
Evening Suruli Caves & Temple Kailasanathar Cave Temple Trek up to the Kailasanathar Cave Temple (800m above the falls) and the nearby Suruli Velappar Temple. Check into your accommodation in Cumbum/Gudalur.
